Auburn Oaks Farm Wedding | Madeline + Daniel

I have worked with several couples who have had their wedding at Auburn Oaks Farm here in Alabama. One of those couples is the Moores!

Madeline and Daniel got engaged in September of 2020 in Auburn, Alabama. Daniel serves in the United States Army and was deployed just a few short months later. They spent most of their engagement apart, but Daniel returned home safely 10 months later, just in time for the holidays and their wedding. They tied the knot on a gorgeous day in December of 2021 at one of Auburn’s loveliest venues, Auburn Oaks Farm.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the Farm and it is breath-taking. They have a main house, a green space, and a clubhouse. Madeline and Daniel chose to say their vows outside on the lawn, with a beautiful pond in the background. They had their reception in the clubhouse and took many of their portraits in front of this gorgeous building.

All About the Wedding Stationery

From the beginning, I knew I would love working with Madeline. She is so kind and because we live in the same city, I actually got to meet her in person a few times. She and Daniel chose a very classic and traditional color scheme of whites and creams, black, gold and hints of blue for their winter wedding.

We began with her save the dates and we chose a simple design with a sweet photo of them and the need-to-know information about their upcoming wedding.

For their invitations, I worked with Madeline on creating their custom monogram. I used their first two initials to create a classic, intertwining monogram that we added to the top of her invitations and wax seals. We added vellum wraps around each suite that were secured with the gold wax seals, as well as gold calligraphy addressing on the envelopes.

As a wedding invitation designer, I usually don’t attend the weddings of my couples. However, I do love seeing all of the gorgeous photos. Hannah Miller with Hannah Miller Photography captured the Moore’s special day perfectly.
