A Dreamy Wedding in South Carolina

Fairytale. THAT is the word I would use to describe Katlyn and Gustavo's wedding day. From the beautiful flowers, to the elegant dress, to the gorgeous ceremony set up, everything was simply stunning.

I love when photographers send me the wedding album when they are finished editing, because it allows me to experience the wedding day through the beautiful photos. Although I am a wedding vendor, I am not one who has the opportunity to attend the weddings of my brides, so it is always so special to me to be able to see and post their pictures!

I started working with Katlyn last year on her wedding invitation suite and when she decided on pink being a main color, I was super excited. Her invitations included a crest with pretty, pink flowers and blush envelopes with silver calligraphy...a beautiful combination!!

Mikaela Hewins of Mikaela Marie Photo photographed this wedding and her detail shots are some of my favorites! I am a little biased toward detail shots because my work is contained in those pictures, but these in particular were so gorgeous. Katlyn did a great job with her color palette and Mikaela did a great job styling everything! The flowers, the ring boxes, the jewelry, and the invitations all went so well together.

Katlyn also ordered vow books that she and Gustavo read from during their ceremony. The vow books, with their handmade paper and silk ribbon, added such a feminine and dainty touch to the photos. Their promises to each other will always be contained in these sweet books, and I think that is such a special thing to have to look back on as the years go by!

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Katlyn and have been gushing over this album since it arrived in my inbox. All of the vendors did an amazing job executing their parts and it was a pleasure to play a small role in this wedding! Here are some more of my favorites from this special day!!
